Rückseite: C AN-TIST VETVS - GABINIS -/ FOE-DVS / P R // QVM [Foedus populi Romani qum (= cum) Gabinis]. Ein Fetiale der Gabiner und ein Fetiale der Römer einander gegenüberstehend vor einem girlandengeschmückten, brennenden Altar, ein Schwein darüber haltend.

Kommentar: C. Antistius Vetus zeigt auf der Rückseite eine Episode aus der Frühgeschichte Roms: Den 466 v. Chr. zwischen Gabinern und Römern geschlossenen Vertrag. Dieses Foedus Aequum wurde unter dem Gesichtspunkt der Isopolitie geschlossen - und diese Gleichrangigkeit wird in dem Münzbild so exakt umgesetzt, dass kaum zu entscheiden ist, welcher Fetiale welchem Volk zuzuordnen ist. Die Wahl dieses Motivs ist familiengeschichtlich motiviert, denn ein Vorfahre des Triumvirn, Antistius Petro, war in die Vorgeschichte der Vertragsschließung involviert. Den Quellen zufolge konnte man noch in augusteischer Zeit im Tempel des Semo Sancus jenen Schild bestaunen, auf den eine Rindshaut mit den Vertragsklauseln gespannt war.
