Anyone living in or near Campbell County, SD is invited to attend a pasture walk on a unique system. Mark Cook, of Bar O Heart Cattle Company, has a little over 150 acres with 17 permanent pastures and the capability to divide it into 30 or more pastures using temporary fencing. He started the business as a stocker steer operation, but for the past few years he has been working with cow/calf pairs. Mark has identified over 70 different flowering plants/grasses and also some critters like frogs and butterflies that most of us overlook that are prevalent on these acres. Don’t miss this opportunity to see a small operation work in a very big way. See the attached flier for more information.
