Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Auchinleck House Bridge Now disused, this bridge provided a 'back door' to Auchinleck House. Made of red sandstone mined from a bend in the river barely 100 metres away, it allowed tradesmen to visit and not disturb the Boswell family in the main house. The bridge platform can be seen in the foreground, but is now overgrown. The bridge crossed the Lugar Water.
