English: So-called Portrait of Karl II, Grand Duke of Mecklenburg-Strelitz (1741-1816), but is probably a depiction of his brother Adolf Friedrich IV, Duke of Mecklenburg-Strelitz (1738-1794).
  • Identification proposed by user Ecummenic (talk) based on the comparison with a portrait of Adolf Friedrich (see image below) and the lack of physical resemblance of the sitter of this portrait to verified representations of Grand Duke Karl.
