English: Attic black-figure eponymous (amphora) vase of the Nessos Painter; Herakles wrestles down the Centaur Nessos, Perseus already departed while the beheaded Medusa collapses on the ground, her Sisters Sthele and Euryale fly above the sea in pursuit of Perseus. For head image see detail image; found at a tomb in Pireaos Str. in Athens; about 620/610 BC. From a tomb in Pireos Str. Athens. National Archaeological Museum of Athens Français : Vase attique éponyme (amphore) à figures noires du Peintre de Nessos. H. 122 cm. Col : Héraklès affronte le centaure Getos ; panse : Persée est déjà parti tandis que la Méduse décapitée s'effondre au sol, ses sœurs Sthele et Euryale volent au-dessus de la mer à la poursuite de Persée.
