Description
English: The Sapphire colored water surrounded by huge rock mountains reflects the beauty of the place.This lake was miraculously created by a massive landslide at Attabad village

The lake was once the bridge between two regions, hence rafts and boats were used for transporting vehicles and people from one side of the lake to the other.

A long tunnel is now provided for travelling purpose but the lake still has its charm and attraction over the tourists.
