العربية: الصُورة أ تُصوِّرُ بُنية القلب السليم وتدفُّق الدماء فيه، أمَّا الصُورة ب فتُصوِّرُ قلبًا يُعاني من عيبٍ في الحاجز الأُذيني. يسمحُ الثُقب بتدفُّق الدماء المُؤكسجة من الأُذين الأيسر إلى الأُذين الأيمن لِتختلط مع الدماء اللامُؤكسجة.
