Nederlands: Dit gezicht op het 17de-eeuwse Jerusalem komt niet voor in een Nederlandse atlas uit die periode. Kaarten en plattegronden van Jeruzalem en het Heilige land waren zeer populair, bijvoorbeeld ter illustratie van reisbeschrijvingen en bijbels. Ook deze prent is vermoedelijk als boekillustratie gebruikt.; Onderaan over de gehele breedte van de kaart een verklaring van de cijfers op de kaart (1-64).
English: This view of the 17th-century Jerusalem was not published in any Dutch atlas from that period. Maps and prints of Jeruzalem and the Holy Land were very popular, for instance as illustrations for travel writings and bibless. This print was probable meant and used as book illustration.
