Nederlands: In 1682 publiceerden de erfgenamen van Joan Blaeu het vierde en vijfde deel van de Italiaanse stedenboeken. Deze beide delen vormden de afsluiting van een reeks atlassen waartoe Joan Blaeu (1598-1673) in 1663 het initiatief had genomen. Elk van deze stedenboeken was gewijd aan een bepaald deel van Italië. Behalve een aantal stadsplattegronden en stadgezichten bevat elk stedenboek een groot aantal topografische prenten van karakteristieke stadsgezichten en bijzondere gebouwen. Dit gezicht op de stad Turijn is opgenomen in het vierde deel. De prent werd vervaardigd door de graveur Romeyn de Hooghe (1645-1708).
English: In 1682 the heirs of Joan Blaeu published the fourth and fifth volumes of the town books of Italy. Both volumes concluded the series published since 1663. Each of these town books was dedicated to a special part of Italy. Apart from some city plans and city views each volume includes a large number of topographical prints of cities and buildings. In the fourth volume we find this view on the city of Turin engraved by Romeyn de Hooghe (1645-1708).
