Nederlands: Op deze prent toont Romeyn de Hooghe (1645-1708) de Spaanse koning Karel II tijdens een rijtocht in de omgeving van Madrid dat op de achtergrond goed zichtbaar is. De koning is tijdens een tussenstop uitgestapt en begroet een monstrans met het heilig sacrament dat hem wordt voorgehouden.
English: This print by Romeyn de Hooghe (1645-1708) depicts the Spanish king Charles II during his ride in the surroundings of Madrid which is visible in the background. The king got off during a stop and greets the monstrance with the holy sacrament which is held up to him.
