Nederlands: Bij de nieuwsprent van het beleg van Belgrado in 1688 behoorde ook een tekst waarop de inhoud zo goed mogelijk werd verklaard. Deze tekst werd vermoedelijk verzorgd door Aert Dirksz. Oossaen, die ook de uitgever was van de Amsterdamsche Courant.
English: The print of the siege of Belgrade is called an historical print. Such historical prints were often published by newspapers publishers which aimed at showing recent information and images to the public. These illustrations were often accompanies by explanatory texts such as this. This text belongs to the news print published in 1688 by Aert Dirksz. Oossaen, publisher of the Amsterdamsche Courant.
