Description
English: Pre-war trolley systems utilized overhead electrical wires which are costly to install and maintain. Astoria Oregon's Riverfront Trolley uses an attached diesel generator to provide the operating power needed for the trolley. It's real-time location can be pinpointed by GPS and is viewable on a smartphone.
