Description
Français : Cette photographie montre la maternité de Cholon. La légende de la photographie donne les statistiques suivantes : "Femmes hospitalisées en 1909... 1.536 ; Journées d'hospitalisation... 15.598. Accouchements... 1.459 ; Accouchements gémillaires... 9 ; [Total...] 1.468. Accidents... 11 ; Mort nés... 132 ; [Total...] 143 - 9.80 %. Enfants nés viables... 1.325 ; Décès... 14 - 1.05 %". La date présente dans la légende indique probablement l'année de création de la maternité. Il s'agirait de la première maternité créée en Indochine, c'est ce qu'affirme Alfred Raquez dans son compte rendu de l'exposition internationale de Hanoi de 1902.
