Asklund, Mellomveien 21, bygård oppført på slutten av 1800-tallet av brovakt J. Vinje og E. Henriksen; oppkalt etter gården Asklund på Frosta, hvor Henriksen hadde vært gjetergutt.

Mellomveien går fra Innherredsveien til Thomas von Westens gate og er oppkalt 1915 etter beliggenheten mellom Strandveien og Innherredsveien. Veien var tidligere en del av Gamle Kirkevei, og navnet hadde lenge vært i uoffisiell bruk. Etter at omnibusselskapet 1893 åpnet sin første linje gjennom veien, ble den kalt Omnibussveien.
