English: The Asklepios-Fachklinikum Lübben, a psychiatric hospital in Lübben, Landkreis Dahme-Spreewald, Brandenburg, Germany. This brick part of the hospital is a listed cultural heritage monument.
Deutsch: Das Asklepios-Fachklinikum in Lübben, Landkreis Dahme-Spreewald, Brandenburg, Deutschland. In dem Fachklinikum werden Menschen mit seelischen und neurologischen Erkrankungen behandelt.Die historischen Gebäudeteile des Klinikensembles aus Backstein – hier die Ansicht von der Bahnhofstraße aus in Richtung Haupteingang – stehen unter Denkmalschutz. Von 1872 bis 1875 als Korrigendenanstalt durch die Stände der Niederlausitz erbaut, wurde die Einrichtung 1891 bis 1893 in eine Heil- und Pflegeanstalt der Provinz Brandenburg vornehmlich für geistig und körperlich kranke Kinder und Jugendliche umgewandelt. Der Architekt, Städteplaner und Provinzialkonservator Theodor Goecke entwarf und errichtete um 1900 verschiedene Erweiterungsbauten. Mit der Umgestaltung der Klinik in den 1990er Jahren wurde unter Wahrung denkmalschützerischer Gesichtspunkte den gewandelten medizinischen Anforderungen entsprochen. |
