Summary
[edit]DescriptionAshworth Fold Boundary - geograph.org.uk - 1185775.jpg |
English: Ashworth Fold Boundary. Ashworth Fold is a small hamlet to the north of Heywood.
The single track Ashworth Road is a popular short cut and rat run for cars between the A680 Rochdale Road and the B6222 Bury Road. This has resulted in a 20 mph speed limit being imposed after local residents complained about the cars excessive speeds travelling through Asworth Fold. This picture was taken looking south at the northern boundary sign. 814846 |
