Description
English: Ashton Gate railway station (site), Bristol
Opened in 1906 by the Great Western Railway on the line from Bristol to Portishead, this station with 2 parallel platforms closed to passengers in 1964. View south towards Parson Street and Bristol. The northbound Portishead platform can still clearly be seen in this image, the Bristol-bound platform to the left was also extant but hidden by undergrowth.
