Description
English: Lateral struts, angle block, bracing, and chord of the Ashtabula Bridge in Ashtabula, Ohio, that failed on December 29, 1876. The original drawing was by civil engineer Charles MacDonald, who examined the bridge wreckage in late January 1877. Redrawn by Tim Evanson.
