English: Ashford International Railway Station The lower section of track in the foreground behind the mass of concrete walling is the route of the Eurostar which heads to the left of the picture towards La France. The trains leap forth from the depths like a shark breaching, accompanied by gasps from awestruck passengers on platform 4 of the Station (or is that "customers" these days?). |
