| Description |
English: Ashford. Looking from the Station platform, back towards Folkestone. The line to Hastings, via Battle, goes off to the right. I don't know if sanity has since prevailed, but, when I took this tour, the train from Ashford to Hastings left 2 minutes before the train from Folkestone got in, which resulted in a 58 minutes' wait at Ashford for the next service. Alright for the Tea Buffet, I guess, but quite frustrating for the traveller. |
