Description
English: Ashford-in-the-Water, Holy Trinity Church, north aisle west window (1880).

Top: The Annumciation, designed by William Morris, first used at Pixley, Herefortdshire.

Lower left: St John by Burne-Jones originally for the Savoy Chapel (1869). The chalice nd the dragon refer to the story that the priest of the temple of Diana at Ephesus gave John a poison cup to drink to test his faith. When he blessed the cup a dragon came out of it, symbolising poisin, later used to represent faith and Satan. Lower right: St Gregory by Burne-Jones originally for the chapel of Jesus College, Cambridge (1873). Tracery:The Dove by Philip Webb, originally designed for Middleton Cheney.
