English: This image shows the Aschergraben near Altenberg in the Ore Mountains. The Aschergraben was built from 1452 to 1458 to convey water from Zinnwald to the tin mines in Altenberg.
Deutsch: Das Bild zeigt den Aschergraben nahe Altenberg. Der Aschergraben ist ein bereits Mitte des 15. Jahrhunderts angelegter Kunstgraben, der die Altenberger Zinnbergwerke und Pochwäschen mit Aufschlagwasser versorgte.
