Arthur E. Liffiton. Arthur E. Liffiton, formerly of Ridgewood, died on Monday at Dresden Manor, Paramus, after a year's illness. His age was 78. Mr. Liffiton had been assistant treasurer of the Behr-Manning Manufacturing Corp, and had retired several years ago. His home was in Loudonville, New York (near Albany) before he moved to Ridgewood, where he resided on Avondale Road, for about eight years. Five years ago he went to River Edge to live with his son, Donald at 154 Kensington Road, until his final Illness. Funeral services were held yesterday at the Van Emburgh Mortuary Chapel, Ridgewood, the Rev. John R. Hawkins of Bogota, officiating. Burial was in George Washington Memorial Park. Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. T. Paul Davis of Loudonville; two sons, Arthur E. Jr. of Garden City, Long Island, and Donald U. of River Edge, and seven grandchildren.
