Arrowhead (leaf-shaped)
Description
English: Flint leaf-shaped arrowhead, sub-ovoid in plan, convex-concave in profile and bi-convex in section. On the dorsal face retouch can be seen along the upper halves of the left and right margins. Both margins taper towards the proximal end as if being prepared for hafting. The flint is smoky-grey. There is secondary cortex and it is likely to have derived from a local beach pebble.

It is a close match to the Type 2A arrowhead in Butler's classification (Butler 2005, page 123). Butler shows a similar leaf-shaped arrowhead on page 124, Fig. 49, No. 7.
