Description
English: Title page of an official Romanian-language textbook and literary anthology, printed in the Austrian Empire: Lepturarĭŭ rumînesc, Vol. I, Vienna. The author, and presumably the target audience, were from Bukovina region. Printed in antiquated and dialectal Romanian, one of several spellings in circulation. Full title: Lepturarĭŭ rumînesc, cules de'n scriptorĭ rumînĭ pre'n Comisiunea denumitœ de cœtre naltul Ministeriŭ all invœťĭœmîntuluĭ, aśiœďĭat spre folosînťia învœťĭœćeilor de n' clasa I śi II. a ģimnasiuluĭ de jos ("Romanian Chrestomancy, Collected from Romanian Writers through the Commission Appointed by the Ministry of Education, Designed to be Used by Students of the Ist and IInd Grades of the Lower Gymnasium").
