Français : Une fête sous Henri II d'Arnold Scheffer, 1865. Exposée dans l'escalier de l'Hôtel de Rolland (Mairie de Carcassonne). D'après Henri Estienne :
"Cet exemple est d’un esbattement qu’on prit à Blois à l’entrée du roi Henri deuxième de ce nom, de faire despouiller nombre de femmes de leurs vêtements et estant toute nues les faire monter sur des boeufs et sur iceux en tel équipage faire leurs monstres partout où semblait bon à Messieurs qui les suivoient faisant office de picqueboeufs."
Acheté par l’État au Salon de 1865.
