[edit]DescriptionArnhem Leyland-Verheul trolleybus 162 leaving the railway station in 1983.jpg | Arnhem trolleybus 162, a 1969 Leyland-Verheul trolleybus, pulling out of the old railway station bus loop (at Stationsplein), bound for 't Cranevelt on route 3. The trolleybuses of this type in Arnhem's fleet used recycled electrical equipment from scrapped BUT trolleybuses built in 1949/50. The last vehicles of this type were withdrawn from service at the end of 1984. The open loop at this location was closed in March 2003 and replaced by a new loop located to the west - and occupying the ground floor of a building. |
