Herdachte groepen: Geallieerde militairen Onthulling: 1964 Vorm en materiaal De gedenkzuil aan de Eusebiusbuitensingel in Arnhem is uitgevoerd in natuursteen. In de zuil is een plaquette ingemetseld. Boven de gedenkplaat is in reliëf een Pegasus aangebracht. Het gedenkteken is 1 meter 82 hoog, 25 centimeter breed en 20 centimeter diep.

Tekst De tekst op de zuil luidt:

'HIER STOND DE VAN LIMBURG STIRUMSCHOOL WAAR TIJDENS DE GEVECHTEN OM DE RIJNBRUG EEN GROEP VAN HET 1ST PARA SQUADRON ROYAL ENGINEERS VAN ZONDAGAVOND 17 TOT WOENSDAGMIDDAG 20 SEPTEMBER 1944 STANDHIELD.'
