Description
English: U.S. Army Staff Sgt. Nicholas Lising operates a Storz Endoscope in one of the trauma care rooms at the Field Medical Station on Camp Marmal. Lising, of the 8th Forward Surgical Team (Airborne), is currently serving his seventh deployment in ten years of service as an Operating Room Technician. His efforts are a direct contribution to the overall mission of ISAF. International Security Assistance Force Regional Command North supports ANSF in close coordination and collaboration in providing security and disrupting the insurgents' activities in order to protect the population, secure the highways and support the Afghan Border Patrol operations in the border areas and crossing points in order to set the conditions for economic, social and cultural development in key terrain districts.
