Summary

[edit]
Description The tenth day and night of the 2008 Armenian presidential election protests held in Liberty Square in the capital Yerevan. This day saw a growing number of tents, which were numbered at about 132 at night. This was the last night of peaceful protest against alleged election rigging by the government, after which the next morning the government violently destroyed the camp, beating and killing demonstrators who if anything were armed with sticks and rocks. The number of tents had increased from previous nights to 132 (according to my hand-count around the square).

This picture (12:25 AM) is a general view looking southwest from the west part of the podium.
