Over a thousand years, people gathered at Döserygg for funerals and other rites. Fourteen megalithic tombs have been found on a relatively small area, The area has been a ritual way. Archaeologists have found that it has been surrounded by densely standing man-high piles of trees, making way unique in Scandinavia.
