Ελληνικά: Ο κάμπος του Νεστάνη, ο κάμπος στο περιθώριο της γιγαντιαίας Τρίπολη-Οροπέδιο, Βορειοανατολική Πελοπόννησος. Πανόραμα-εικόνα του 90% του πολιες. Όνομα: „Αργόν Πεδίον“. Αναφέρεται από τον Παυσανία, 160 μ. Χρ. Το πολιε αποστραγγίζεται από ένα Καταβόθρα το κυματοειδές αυλάκι αποστράγγισης στο προσκήνιο οδηγεί σε αυτό. English: Polje at the fringes of the giant Tripoli-Plateau (also a polje), North-East-Peloponnese. Panorama-Image of 90% of the polje. Name: "Argón Pedíon", as mentioned by Pausanias, ca. 160 A.D in his preserved book “Description of Greece, Book 8, Arcadia” . The polje is drained by one large ponor. The meandering furrow in the foreground leads to it. After ca. 30 km, subsurface, the waters emerge again in a large coastal spring. Deutsch: Polje, eine ca. 5 km große Seitenbucht des ca. 30 km großen, abflusslosen Tripoli-Plateaus (eine Karst-Hohlform) im Nord-Osten des Peloponnes. Auf diesem Foto sind etwa 90% der Polje abgebildet. Diese Polje ist durch die um ca. 160 nach Chr. entstandene, überlieferte Publikation des antiken Schriftstellers Pausanias belegt. Er beschrieb sie als „Argón Pedíon“ (Faules Feld). Niederschläge, die zu einem temporären See anschwellen können, werden durch eine Reihe von künstlichen und natürlichen Gräben einer Felsöffnung, einem großen Ponor, zugeführt. Die mäandernde, natürliche Furche führt zum Ponor. Nach ca. 30 km kommt das Wasser in einer großen unterseeischen Quelle („Dine“) wieder ans Tageslicht.
