Description
Español: Aranjuez es un municipio de la Comunidad de Madrid (España) y la última ciudad de la Comunidad de Madrid por el sur, cabecera de partido judicial, cuyo término se encuentra atravesado por los ríos Tajo y Jarama.

Es uno de los Reales Sitios de la Corona de España desde que Felipe II así lo nombrara en 1560, aunque posee además el título de villa desde 1899, razón por la cual el municipio es conocido como Real Sitio y Villa de Aranjuez.3

Es famoso por su Palacio Real, sus Jardines y por el trazado cuadricular de sus calles, por sus huertas de fresas y espárragos, por haber servido de inspiración al compositor Joaquín Rodrigo para su Concierto de Aranjuez, así como por el llamado Motín de Aranjuez, que tuvo lugar en dicha localidad en 1808, y que terminó con la abdicación de Carlos IV en favor de su hijo Fernando VII. El Paisaje cultural de Aranjuez fue declarado Patrimonio de la Humanidad por la Unesco en 2001.
