Summary

[edit]
Description
English: The east face of the Roman gate was decorated with alternating panels of deities and vegetation. Seen here is a god or goddess with two arrows behind her. This might suggest Diana, the Roman goddess of the hunt, or some Nabataean goddess who has assimilated Diana's attributes. Another possibility, if the figure is male, could be Sagittarius, the Archer.
