EFFECTIVE NIGHT LIGHTING ON DISPLAYS In the case of the McAlister building this prob-lem was solved by the use of radiant heatingunits installed in the concrete floor slab. Thusthroughout the entire work area, some 8000 feetin extent, a hot water copper tube panel heatingsystem was installed. Many difficulties had to be overcome in thelayout of the plan however as in the greater partof the work area were hoist installations withtheir extensive mechanical features which ex-tended below the concrete floor level and thushad to be by-passed.
