Français : L'arche au-dessus de la porte est divisée en deux sections, celle à gauche montre le script suivant: ·V·D·M:AI:HLIYVI· interprété comme: V.D.M.A.D.MDLXVI., qui représente en latin 'Quinto die Maii, A.D.1566', en français 'le cinq mai,1566'. Celle à droite montre HV H·ET:E·M:M·E·E / ·IO.B·M·H·O interprété comme HV.H.ET:E.M:ME.E. / IO.B.M.H.O qui représente en latin 'Hugh Hoare et Eileen Moore me effecere.' / 'Johannes Barrett, minister hujus operis', en français 'Hugh Hoare et Eileen Moore m'ont engagé.' / 'Jean Barrett maître de ce travail.'(1), (2). Selon la légende locale le script commémore le mariage de Hugh et Ellen le 5 mai,1566.
