Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Map inset showing Arnsdorf and other tiny exclaves along the Danube in the Wachau region west of Vienna that had belonged to Salzburg since 860. Despite frequent disputes with the Habsburg government in Vienna, the prince-archbishops retained their distant Wachau possessions until the secularization of Salzburg in 1803. Cropped from a map of the Archbishopric of Salzburg by Johann Baptist Homann c. 1720
