NOTE: This image is a focus stacked image of Aquilegia flower consisting of 29 images that were merged using Zerene Stacker Version 1.04 (licensed). As a result, this image underwent digital manipulation which may have included blending, blurring, cloning, and colour and perspective adjustments. As a result of these adjustments, the image content may be slightly different than reality at the points where the images were combined. This manipulation is often required due to lens, perspective, and parallax distortions.

Additional Information
[edit]en: Flower grown in own garden.
- Location: Dortmund, Germany.
- The combined focus stack exhibits an almost uncanny detail from the frontmost petal to the rearmost petal tip.
- Addendum: I noticed at least 8 insects on the petals, of 3 different shapes and transparency. Alas, I cannot tell which of these are duplicates, as the bugs have a tendency to move around during the approx. 50 seconds required to make the 29 images for the focus stack. All 8 are similarly resolved and (maybe by pure chance) none of them overlap.
de: Blume aus dem eigenen Garten.
- Fundort: Dortmund, Deutschland.
