| Description |
English: Approaching Scours Lane. The near bank is in that part of Tilehurst that is in the Borough of Reading in the English county of Berkshire. The far bank is in the Oxfordshire parish of Mapledurham. There is usually a hive of activity on and around the river here. There is a boat repair yard and chandlery, a public slipway, boat moorings and a few houses. It is also a natural end to the route from Reading along the Thames where the path rejoins the urban area. |
