Summary
[edit]DescriptionApple Macintosh Classic II Main Board.jpg |
English: The main PCB from a 1992 Apple Macintosh Classic II computer. The board contains the CPU on the right (a surface mount Motorola 68030), 4MB of RAM (2MB soldered to the board and 2MB in SIMM sockets, bottom left), ROMs in sockets (bottom right), a custom video and glue logic chip, a SCSI chip, a floppy controller ("Super Woz" chip), an ADB controller (top right) and audio circuitry (top left). An expansion socket for an FPU (not present) is to the right. There is a carrier for a PRAM battery in the centre of the board (the battery is not present). The connectors for the ports are along the top edge of the board. There is also an internal SCSI connector and an internal floppy connector. The molex connector in the centre is for power and CRT video signal connections. The PSU and high voltage components for the CRT were on a separate board. |
