Description

British Railways English Electric Type 4 Co-Co class 50 diesel-electric locomotive number 50020 Revenge of Laira TMD passes Apperley Junction signal box 27 signal with a Bristol Temple Meads to Ilkley 'Skipton Skipper' charter (1Z25). Saturday 14th November 1987

Apperley Junction signal box (left to right) 27 signal (down main to Guiseley distant) and 25 signal (down main distant) are carried on a Midland Railway wooden two doll balanced bracket signal which was made redundant and was moved to the National Railway Museum at York after Apperley Junction signal box was closed on 4th June 1994

The Midland Railway finial is missing from the taller doll
