English: This rail tractor built in 1962 was acquired 2006 by the Appenzell Railway. In 2012 it was repainted. It kept the original designation Thm 2/2 instead of the now correct Tmh 2/2. Rorschach station, Switzerland, March 12, 2014. Deutsch: Zahnrad-Dieseltraktor der Appenzeller Bahnen für ihre Normalspurstrecke Rorschach - Heiden. Der Traktor wurde 1962 als Thm 4 für die Bedienung des Anschlussgleises in Rüti ZH geliefert. Nach dessen Einstellung wurde der Traktor 2002 von einer Fahrleitungsfirma für Arbeiten zwischen Rorschach und Heiden angemietet und 2006 von der AB aufgekauft. Beim Neuanstrich wurde die alte, an sich nicht mehr korrekte, Bezeichnung Thm 2/2 beibehalten und die neue Nummer 20 angebracht. Seit 1966 wird bei gemischtem Adhäsions- und Zahnradantrieb das h der Traktionsart nachgestellt, also Tmh". Hinter dem Traktor ist der Hbis 21 85 2250 664-9 (Eisenbahn-Amateur 2/08, S. 69) zu sehen, der die Eigentümer-Aufschrift "Prestige Continental Express" trägt, aber keine Nummer. Der Wagen gehört inzwischen Eurovapor. |
