Description
English: A switch in the gear rack system Riggenbach. The gear rack is on a height where it can be moved over the rails.

1: Where the switch tongue is moved, the gear rack is still fixed.
2: In the middle part the fixed mount gear rack widens and is splitted. Only there where the rails would cut across the gear rack, a relatively short piece of the racks is moved. The simultaneously moving of these widely separated parts takes place via a long linkage (on the right).
3: The movable parts of the gear rack. The left part makes room for the wheels and the right part slides over the unused rail.
