Each man was required to notifythe deputy firewarden of the count.v and the manager of the associa-tion in case he had a bad fire. The total expenses of the association Avere about $4,000. They hada total of 1,102 fires, which burned over 18.753 acres, of which Avere713 acres of timber, about one half of which was damaged.
