English: An illustration for the sci-fi story, "Apophis: Project Madness 101" by Bob Bello, written in the spirit of James Bond, 007. Oil and a acrylics on canvas, 24"x48".
SYNOPSIS: In 2036, an asteroid the size of Manhattan suddenly changes course and hits Earth right in the heart of Yellow Stone, US. It causes a super-volcano, mega-earthquakes, and endless tsunamis, which melt the the polar icecaps and cause a global Ice Age. The world economy is devastated worse than during the Great Depression of the 1930s, and the encroaching Space War is not the answer.
