Summary

[edit]
Description
English: The Sebasteion, or Augusteum, was jointly dedicated, according to a 1st-century inscription on its propylon, "To Aphrodite, the Divine Augusti and the People". It contained many reliefs representing these, replicas of which are in the reconstructed building, the originals being in the museum.
