Summary

[edit]
Description
English: A British Army Apache Attack Helicopter awaiting rebuild in Oman, during Exercise Saif Sareea 3. The Apaches were working alongside other air assets from across defence within Joint Helicopter Command.

Exercise Saif Sareea brought 5,500 UK armed forces together with over 60,000 Omani troops, utilising Air, Sea and Land assets in the Bilateral training exercise in the Omani Desert.

The Army Apaches, supported by personnel from the Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers (R.E.M.E), were drawn from 4 Regiment Army Air Corps based out of RAF Wattisham in Suffolk.

The R.E.M.E Engineers are responsible for the rebuild of the aircraft after they arrive in RAFO Musannah, Oman in preparation for the Exercise.
