Description
Português: Desenho de três utensílios de pesca, recolhidas junto à antiga cidade romana de Balsa, no concelho de Tavira, em Portugal. As primeiras duas figuras são anzóis, sendo o da esquerda de bronze e com farpa, enquanto que o da direita, de maiores dimensões, é de ferro e não tem farpa. Em baixo surge uma agulha para fazer redes de pesca, em bronze. Esta imagem foi publicada na obra "O Archeologo Português", volume IV, de 1898, disponibilizada pela Direcção Geral do Património Cultural.
English: Drawing of several fishing tools found in near the ancient roman city of Balsa, in the Tavira municipality, on the Algarve region, in southern Portugal. The first two objects are hooks, the one on the left is in bronze and with a barb, while the bigger one was made of iron and has no barb. In the bottom is a bronze needle for making fishing nets. This image was published in the "O Archeologo Português" magazine, second volume, of 1896, and scanned by Direcção Geral do Património Cultural.
