[edit]
Description
English: The pulpit also has St. George in its front. A notice elsewhere the St. George’s dragon slaying legend is no older than the 11th century. But his veneration dates from the third century. His grave was venerated in the 6th century. His cult was brought to the west by crusaders, the most to England, where he became the saint of the Most Noble Order of the Garter.
