Description
Description provided at the 2002 auction: "The Critic was a British screw steamer built in 1881 by Thompson and Sons of Sunderland, England for the Arrow Shipping Company of Newcastle. Her principle dimensions were LOA 330 feet, Beam 39 feet, Draft 18.7 feet and Gross Tonnage 2,601." In 1906 she got Italian owners and became the Nitor. She served until 1924.
